What MealPrepPro is

MealPrepPro (listed on the App Store as Meal Prep - Weekly Planner) is a meal planning app for iPhone and iPad. It brings the whole weekly routine into one place:

  • a weekly planner with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack slots for every day;
  • a library of 1,000+ recipes, each listing calories, protein, carbs and fat per serving, with step-by-step instructions;
  • 22 dietary filters, including halal, kosher, keto, vegan, gluten-free and diabetes-friendly;
  • a shopping list that is built from your plan and grouped by store category;
  • optional Premium tools such as the meal plan generator, nutrition dashboard, pantry tracker and Walmart cart ordering in the US.

MealPrepPro was first released on the App Store in March 2026. It requires iOS or iPadOS 15.1 or later and is not available on Android.

Who makes it

MealPrepPro is built and published by J&H Technology LLC, an independent app studio. You can find more about the company at jandhtechnology.com (opens in a new tab).

What we believe

  1. Planning should take minutes, not an evening. The app is designed so a week can be planned in one short sitting, and reused next week.
  2. Nutrition numbers should be visible, not hidden. Every built-in recipe shows calories and macros per serving.
  3. Every diet deserves good options. That is why the app includes filters many planners skip, such as halal, kosher and red-meat-free. Filters describe ingredients; they are not certifications.
  4. Leftovers are a feature. You can plan leftover dinners and lunches on purpose to cook less and waste less.
  5. Your data is yours. The app works without an account, does not include advertising SDKs, and lets you delete your account from Settings.

How this website is written

The guides on this site are written to be practical and accurate. Food safety figures come from USDA, FoodSafety.gov and the FDA and are linked where they are used. Nutrition content is general information, not medical advice. Comparison pages are written by the publisher of MealPrepPro; we disclose that on every comparison and stick to facts we could verify on each product's official website.
