Our commitment
J&H Technology LLC wants everyone to be able to use weeklymealprep.food, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, switch devices, screen magnification, voice control or high-contrast and reduced-motion settings.
Conformance status
- Standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab), Level AA.
- Status: fully conformant. We know of no failures of WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria on this site.
- Scope: every page of weeklymealprep.food, including all blog posts, the FAQ, the comparison pages, the glossary and the legal pages. The MealPrepPro iOS app is assessed separately.
- Date of evaluation: October 18, 2026.
How we evaluated
Every page is checked automatically on each build, and the checks were re-run before publishing this statement:
- axe-core with the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rule sets on every page, in light and dark mode, at 375, 768 and 1440 pixel widths. Zero violations of any severity are allowed.
- Lighthouse accessibility audit on every page, run as a second engine. The target is 100.
- Automated keyboard and layout tests on every page:
- a skip link is the first tab stop;
- every focusable element shows a visible focus ring with at least 3:1 contrast;
- there are no keyboard traps, and focus order follows reading order;
- the mobile menu opens with Enter and closes with Escape, returning focus to the menu button;
- targets are at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels (apart from inline links in text);
- pages reflow at 320 pixels with no horizontal scrolling;
- text resized to 200% and WCAG text-spacing overrides cause no clipping or loss of content;
- animation and transitions are disabled when you ask for reduced motion;
- headings run in order without skipping levels;
- every image has a text alternative, or is marked as decorative;
- every data table has a caption and header cells.
Accessibility features
- A "Skip to content" link, landmarks (header, labeled navigation regions, main, footer) and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for large text, focus indicators and interface parts, in both light and dark themes. Light and dark themes follow your device setting.
- Links in body text are underlined, and status such as "Included" or "Not included" is written out, never shown by color alone.
- FAQ answers use native disclosure controls that work with keyboards and screen readers.
- Links that open in a new tab say so to screen readers.
- No content flashes, autoplays or times out. The site works with JavaScript turned off.
- Every page is also available as plain Markdown by adding
.mdto its address, which can be easier to use with some assistive technology.
Compatibility
The site is built with semantic HTML and native controls, so it works with current browsers and screen readers without special configuration. Our automated tests run in Chromium and check keyboard-only use and the accessibility tree (names, roles and states). If something does not work with your browser or assistive technology, please tell us.
Known limitations
None known. Screenshots of the iOS app are images of the app's interface. Each has a text alternative that describes what the screen shows, and the same information is on the page as text.
Feedback and contact
