This page explains how to delete your account and data in Meal Prep: Weekly Meal Planner, the meal planning app for iPhone, iPad and Android published by J&H Technology LLC (Android package com.mealpreppro.app).

Delete your account in the app

Open the app and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Tap Delete Account.
Read the confirmation message and tap Delete.

Deletion starts straight away and cannot be undone. When it finishes, you are signed out on that device and the app's data for your account is cleared from it.

Delete your account without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in:

Email support@jandhtechnology.com from the email address you use to sign in to the app.
Use the subject line Delete my Meal Prep account.

We will delete your account and data, as described below, and confirm by email within 30 days of your request.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently deletes the Meal Prep data stored on our servers for your account:

your meal plans and shopping lists;
recipes you saved or created, and your ingredient preferences;
your pantry items;
your meal ratings and favorite meals;
your dietary preferences and nutrition goals;
your family memberships;
your push notification tokens;
your subscription and purchase verification records;
any pending password reset requests;
the Meal Prep settings on your profile, such as dietary preferences and weekly meal prep goal.

If you own a family, ownership passes to the longest-standing admin, or if there is none, the longest-standing member, so the rest of the household keeps its shared plans. A family with no other members is deleted.
Meal plans you created for a family that other people still belong to stay with that family, without your name attached.

Your sign-in (email address and password) can be shared with other apps from J&H Technology LLC. If you have no data in any other J&H Technology app, your login is deleted too. If you do use another J&H Technology app, all of your Meal Prep data is still deleted, but the login is kept so that other app keeps working. The app tells you which of these happened. To have the shared login removed as well, email us.

Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically

Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it yourself to stop future charges:

iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

If you never created an account

If you used the planner without an account, your data is stored only on your device. Deleting the app from your device removes it.
